Background
Over the course of a 30-year history in anti-fraud and criminal investigations, Mr. Anderson has logged many, many hours in the field. Specifically, he has:
- Conducted a variety of mortgage fraud investigations.
- Established and managed Special Investigation Units (SIU), investigated claim, underwriting and financial fraud involving commercial and personal lines insurance.
- Conducted a variety of fraud examinations.
- Planned, organized and conducted investigations of complex property and financial crimes, including fidelity, arson, theft and burglary, worker’s compensation, general liability and auto claims.
- Conducted employee eligibility and security investigations for a variety of government-contracted businesses, with Top Secret clearance.
- Conducted a variety of criminal investigations, directed the Narcotics Unit and managed the Criminal Intelligence and Informant Programs for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) as former Federal Investigator.
He’s also intimately experienced with corporate-side operations, where he has:
- Provided corporate leadership and global direction in the detection, prevention and investigation of claim and underwriting anti-fraud matters.
- Restructured corporate fraud plans to improve reporting accuracy and achieve compliance.
- Developed and launched investigative case management systems and databases for accurate metric gathering and compliance reporting.
- Developed and delivered corporate-wide anti-fraud training programs to improve fraud awareness and increase referrals of suspicious claims.
- Additionally, Mr. Anderson regularly speaks at seminars, conferences and continuing education programs about insurance claim, financial fraud, corporate fraud and legal investigations.
